Sorry to all our frequent readers that there hasn't been a review lately. There will be soon, I promise. Most likely it will be on Blue Bloods by Melissa De La Cruz, but there is a slight possibility of it being on An Abundance of Katherines by John Green. Either way, look out for those two reviews coming soon.
But for today, all we have for you is a little bit of Birthday Best Wishes! (you probably gathered that from the title). We'd like to give a huge, ginormous, 819-paged Happy Birthday to one of our favorite authors, Libba Bray!
I meant to get this posted sooner, but had play practice so, Happy Birthday Libba Bray! (even though not many people will actually read this today, unless of course you are in a different time zone, which Libba is not, she's in the same time zone as me and apparently treating herself to a spa day, but I'm getting off topic).

And I'm kind of doing an in-post survey here. Who has read Libba Bray's books? The 'Gemma Doyle Trilogy' (ugh I hate that title! It's just so awful and doesn't fit the series well enough even though it is a whole lot shorter than the rambling 'A Great and Terrible Beauty Trilogy' That there is a mouthful)?
And of those, or of the ones currently reading Libba's awesome skills in the literarea (new word! dibs!), are you really really looking forward to Going Bovine, her work in progress? I know I am.

Why, yes, I sure have read the GEMMA DOYLE trilogy!
In case you didn't realize that, what with me introducing you to the books myself/supplying you with the first two of them, and all.
Anyway, unless you read something really fast before I finish, the next review will probably be on Nineteen Minutes. I guess. Unless we're only reviewing YA. We never really discussed that. And now I'm discussing it on this comment, despite how unprofessional that is.

PS- have you read my new about me? I don't think you have, because if you had, you probably would have mentioned it. Because once you do, you'll be seriously worrying for my mental health. I'm seriously worrying for my mental health, at the moment. And it's ABOUT ME.
I have read the first two books in the Gemma Doyle Trilogy. You'll be able to see a review for Rebel Angels (and possibly The Sweet Far Thing if I read it soon) sometime in April.
I'm a little worried about Going Bovine. It sounds a little out there to me. I'm hoping it is wonderful and that Libba is not just a one-hit-wonder with Gemma Doyle. So yeah, I'm really looking forward to it even if it does sound a little crazy at this stage.
I simply can't wait for Going Bovine. As a matter of a fact I might have to be placed in a space-time continuum gap as to wait it out successfully. Cheerz on the birthday wish. Spread the word of Miss Bray's sheer magnificence in any way possible. And I agree. Gemma Doyle trilogy is a distressing series title. What do you think it should be called?
